The Stockbridge-Munsee's government is made up of seven members. Elections are held every year in October. The positions that are run for are:
President (elected every two years)
Vice-President (elected every year)
Secretary (appointed)
Treasurer (elected every two years)
Four Council Members (elected every year)

Law Enforcement
The Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Police are cross-deputized with the Shawano County Sheriff's Department. The Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Police are funded through federal funds, tribal funds and contributions from the villages of Bowler and Gresham. Also, through the Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance
